Orange Refrigerator Sugar Cookies

 

Cream together 1 C. shortening, 1 1/2 C. sugar, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 1 tsp. grated orange peel, and 1 T. Orange Juice. Add 2 large eggs and beat. Stir in 3 C. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, and 1 tsp. salt. Chill. Roll to 1/8” thickness, cut into circles with 2” cutter or shape into 2” log before chilling, and slice to 1/8” thickness. Bake for 8 minutes at 375 degrees.
