BLT Salad
BLT Salad
Choice of Dressing:
3 T. mayo
4 T. sour cream
1 large garlic clove, pressed
1/4 C. finely chopped fresh chives
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. sea salt, or to taste
1 to 2 T. milk, or add to desired consistency
or
½ C. Homemade Mayo or store-bought mayonnaise
1 T. avocado oil
1 tsp. reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. organic Dijon mustard
â…› tsp. fine sea salt
1 large head green leaf lettuce, shredded
8 strips nitrate-free bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 C. cherry tomatoes, halved
4 green onions, finely chopped
Croutons, optional
Place the lettuce in a large bowl and top with the bacon, tomatoes, and green onions. Toss with the dressing and serve immediately. You may or may not use all of the dressing depending on how large your head of lettuce was. Add croutons, if using.
