Cheese Chowder
Cheese Chowder
1/4 C. Onion, finely chopped
2 T. Butter
1/4 C. Flour
2 C. Milk
13oz. Can Chicken Broth (13/4C.)
1/4 C. Carrot, finely diced
1/4 C. Celery, finely diced
1/2 C. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, cubed
Cook Onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour; Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook and stir until bubbly and thick. Reduce heat. Add cheese, stir to melt. Simmer 15 minutes. Serves 4.
