Mayberry Lentil Soup

 

1 lb. Kielbasa, sliced

1 pound lentils

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup sliced celery

1/2 cup sliced carrots

1/8 teaspoon garlic salt

2 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 teaspoons oregano

1 6-ounce can tomato paste

8 cups water

 

Ina large stock pot combine all of the ingredients except the tomatoes. Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes
