4 cloves garlic
1 small onion, chopped
1 T. paprika
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 C. lemon juice
1 C. plain yogurt

Mix all ingredients and use as marinade for chicken.
