Thai Chicken Barbecue
2lb. Chicken, cut in pieces

Marinade:
½ C. fresh basil leaves, chopped
½ C. fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
3 T. Ginger, grated
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
 1 pc. finger pepper, chopped
¼ C. soy sauce
¼ C. patis (fish sauce)
¼ C. brown sugar
2 T. corn oil

Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Marinate chicken for at least one hour. Grill over moderate heat until well done turning occasionally and brushing with marinade as needed.
