Orange, Dried Plum, and Almond Compote
1 navel orange
1/3 C. canned crushed pineapple with juice
6 dried plums, cut into slivers
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 T. slivered almonds

Peel the orange and separate into sections. Cut the sections into small pieces. Transfer to a bowl. Add the pineapple, plums, and extract. Sprinkle the almonds on each serving.
