Applesauce Oatmeal
1 C. skim milk
1/2 C. quick-cooking or old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 C. unsweetened applesauce
1/2 Apple, diced small
Artificial sweetener equivalent to 4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 drops vanilla extract
In medium saucepan, heat milk at medium heat until almost boiling. Add oats; cook and stir until desired consistency. Add applesauce, apple, sweetener, cinnamon, and vanilla; stir until combined. Serve with or without milk
