Basic Roquefort Dressing
1/2 C. chilled evaporated milk
2 C. mayonnaise
3 T. strained fresh lemon juice
2 T. very finely minced garlic
Whisk lemon juice into evaporated milk until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and chill in refrigerator. Keep for up to 48 hours.
