Magnificent Mushrooms
1 pound fresh mushrooms, halved
1/2 cup dry vermouth
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic clove, crushed
2 tablespoons onions, chopped
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Put mushrooms in a jar. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over mushrooms. Seal and store in refrigerator. Will keep several weeks.
