3 C. strong freshly brewed hot coffee
3 T. chocolate syrup
1 tsp. sugar
1/3 C. heavy cream
1/4 C. crÃ¨me de cocoa or Irish cream optional
Chocolate shavings for garnish
Combine coffee, chocolate syrup and sugar in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Stir in heavy cream and crÃ¨me de cocoa if using. Cover and cook 30 minutes or until heated through. Ladle coffee in to coffee cup. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
