Kindergarten Bento #70

No school Monday, hot lunch Tuesday, no school yesterday because he had an IQ testing thing for several hours, so first bento this week.
Turkey and cheese critter on whole wheat, dragon fruit and blueberries, broccoli, tomato and baby carrot.
Looks yummy! I love the dragonfruit shapes! For some reason it has never occurred to me to cut out the dragonfruit in shapes, but now I will!

I don’t know that I’ll get dragonfruit again soon. Normally if I see one, I’m buying it along with a bunch of other stocking up things at my asian grocery, and never really paid attention to cost. This time I was just running in for quail eggs (3$ for 20), spotted the dragonfruit and grabbed one. I was shocked to discover at check out that the one fruit was 18$. Chance at a beautiful pink fruit or no — I think we’ll pass on those except the rarest of occasions!
