The Mom I Want to Be

• 1 lb jar sweetened applesauce
• 8 oz cinnamon

Drain 1# jar of SWEETENED applesauce overnight (you will be amazed at how much water seeps out!!) Add 8 ounces of cinnamon to this and mix together well. Pat into a ball, press hard to solidify and mix. Then pat out in 1 cup units onto wax paper, push to 1/4″ thickness and cut with cookie cutters. If desired, punch out hole in top with a straw to allow for hanging.  Great for Christmas ornaments, or to cut into heart shapes for Valentines Day.
