Paint the Town Red (or at least the sidewalk)

Sidewalk Paint   Just combine 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1/4 cup water. and 6-8 drops of food coloring. Give them a bunch of paint brushes and turn them loose on the sidewalk. The paint dries to look just like a sidewalk chalk creation!

“Icicle” Painting

  It’s like drawing with 3 mediums in one project.   Fill an ice -cube tray with Tempera paint. Insert a craft stick into each cube & freeze. When completely frozen, paint draws like chalk. As it softens, the effect is as a crayon, and then like paint. This demonstrates solids becoming liquids.
