Wanton Wrappers<br \/>\nBeaten Egg<br \/>\n1\/2 lb. Ground pork<br \/>\n1\/2 C. finely chopped Shrimp<br \/>\n2 T. Soy Sauce<br \/>\n4 T. Chicken broth or water<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. Salt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tsp. minced Green Onion<br \/>\n2 tsp. Sherry<\/p>\n<p>Mix all ingredients except wonton wrappers and egg. Place small amount of meat filling (rounded teaspoon or so, you want to be able to close the wanton without seepage) on wanton square.\u00a0 Spread a little beaten egg along two sides of the wanton wrapper, then fold over to make a triangle. Deep fry until wanton begins to become brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels. Serve with hot catsup (mix catsup with powdered hot mustard to taste) or <a href=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=30668\">won ton dipping sauce<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS','sans-serif'; font-size: 10pt;\">Note: I don&#8217;t use chicken broth or sherry.\u00a0 Instead I use mirin and rice vinegar and a small splash of sesame oil.\u00a0 I also mix in finely grated ginger and garlic.\u00a0 Instead of hot catsup, I make a dipping sauce similar to something for potstickers with soy, chili oil, a little rice wine vinegar, and some minced green onion tops for color.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS','sans-serif';\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1 pkg.
