Butter<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 157.4pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">1 C. grated Parmesan Cheese<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 157.4pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">2 T. minced Fresh Chives<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 157.4pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 157.4pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">In a large saucepan bring stock to a boil.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Add onions and shallots.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Gradually add cornmeal, whisking constantly, to incorporate it evenly into the stock.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Whisk vigorously to eliminate all lumps.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Reduce heat to very low and stir with a wooden spoon, scraping bottom and sides well until polenta pulls away from sides of the pan when you stir and is the consistency of thick oatmeal, 30 to 45 minutes.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Season with salt and pepper to taste.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>To serve, stir in butter and 1\/3 C. cheese.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Spoon into warmed soup plates.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Divide remaining cheese among the portions, sprinkling over the top of the polenta.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Sprinkle with chives and serve.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6 C.
