Grease a popover pan or 6 large custard cups, 31\/2 inches in diameter, with corn oil margarine or butter, being careful to cover the entire inner surface. Lightly dust with all-purpose flour and place on a baking sheet. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend at medium speed for 15 seconds. Do not overmix. Divide the batter evenly in the prepared pan or among the custard cups and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350\u00b0F. and bake for 25 more minutes. Pierce the side of each popover with a sharp knife and bake for 5 more minutes.  Each Popover = 139 calories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If making these popovers for breakfast try adding a teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the ingredients and serving them with honey or maple syrup. They are also good split and topped with any leftover as a hot entree or served cold stuffed with a salad. Use your imagination and create your own popover specialties. These popovers can be made ahead of time and frozen very successfully. First cool them to room temperature. Then wrap each popover tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil before freezing.
