Drain the bacon on paper towels and reserve 2 T. of bacon grease in the pan. Add the onion to the pan and saut\u00e9 over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes. Season the shrimp with cayenne, salt and pepper. Increase the heat to high and add the olive oil to the saut\u00e9ed onion mixture. When the oil is hot, add the seasoned shrimp and saut\u00e9 until they are partially cooked, 2 to 3 minutes. Deglaze the pan with the white wine and then add the garlic, sundried tomatoes, spinach leaves and basil and cook 1 minute more, stirring often.
