Jam<\/p>\n<p>1 T. Cream Cheese or Neufchatel<\/p>\n<p>1 Egg<\/p>\n<p>1 T. Cream or Milk<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00bd tsp. Sugar<\/p>\n<p>2 drops Vanilla Extract<\/p>\n<p>1 T. Butter, for frying<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Roll bread with rolling pin to about half its original thickness and spread one slice with jam.\u00c2\u00a0 Spread second slice with cream cheese and sandwich together.\u00c2\u00a0 Trim off crusts.\u00c2\u00a0 Beat egg, cream, sugar and vanilla together in a shallow dish.\u00c2\u00a0 Melt butter in frying pan.\u00c2\u00a0 Dip sandwich into egg mixture and turn over to coat.\u00c2\u00a0 Place in frying pan and cook 2 to 3 minutes, until underside is golden.\u00c2\u00a0 Flip and cook another 2-3 minutes, then transfer to plate and carefully cut into sticks.\u00c2\u00a0 Allow to cool a bit before serving, the jam can become very hot.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From Top 100 Finger Foods<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>French Toast Sticks 2 slices White Bread 1 T.
