{"id":2358,"date":"2005-02-07T17:27:48","date_gmt":"2005-02-08T00:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=2358"},"modified":"2008-10-03T09:32:55","modified_gmt":"2008-10-03T16:32:55","slug":"broiled-halibut-with-cilantro-capellini","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=2358","title":{"rendered":"Broiled Halibut with Cilantro Capellini"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1 pound halibut steaks (3\/4 inch thick)<br \/>\n2 T. fresh lime juice<br \/>\n2 T. olive oil<br \/>\n1 clove garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 tsp. chili powder<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. salt<br \/>\n8 ounces uncooked capellini (angel hair pasta)<br \/>\n1 T. olive oil<br \/>\n1 tsp. grated lime peel<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. fresh ground black pepper<br \/>\n2 T. finely chopped cilantro<\/p>\n<p>Combine lime juice 2 tsp. oil, garlic, chili powder and 1\/4 tsp. salt in a small bowl. Spray broiler pan with nonstick cooking oil spray and place fish steaks on pan. Brush with lim juice mixture. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat source for 6 minutes. Turn halibut and brush again with lime mixture. Broil 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. In a large saucepan, cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain and return to saucepan. Add 1 T. oil, lime peel, 1\/2 tsp. salt and 1\/8 tsp. pepper and toss to coat. Cover to keep warm. Just before serving, add cilantro to pasta and toss.
