2 eggs
\n1\u00c2\u00be C. buttermilk
\n5 T. butter, melted and cooled
\n1\u00c2\u00bd C. all-purpose flour
\n1 C. yellow cornmeal
\n2 T. sugar
\n2 tsp. baking powder
\n1 tsp. baking soda
\n1 tsp. salt
\n\u00c2\u00bd lb. bacon, chopped<\/p>\n

Combine the eggs, buttermilk and melted butter in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Pour the wet ingredients in with the dry and stir until everything is thoroughly combined. Now it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s time for the bacon! Mix those delicious bits into the batter so they are distributed evenly throughout. Pour the batter into your waffle iron and cook until steam is no longer being emitted from the iron.
