Water<br \/>\n1\/2 C. Honey<br \/>\n1\/2 C. Red wine vinegar<br \/>\n2 T. Dijon mustard<br \/>\n1 1\/2 T. Cornstarch<br \/>\n1 T. Tabasco (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Place the bacon grease in a saucepan over medium\u00e2\u02c6\u2019high heat. Add the onions and saut\u00c3\u00a9 until the onions start to blacken. While the onions are caramelizing, in a mixing bowl place the water, honey, pepper sauce, and red wine vinegar. Using a wire whisk, mix the ingredients well.<br \/>\nAdd the cornstarch and whisk well. After the onions have caramelized, add the Dijon mustard to the onions and stir together with a rubber spatula. Add the water, vinegar, pepper sauce honey and cornstarch to the mustard and onions and mix. Continue stirring until mix thickens and comes to a boil.
