{"id":1789,"date":"2009-04-26T17:04:39","date_gmt":"2009-04-27T00:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=1789"},"modified":"2009-04-19T16:50:13","modified_gmt":"2009-04-19T23:50:13","slug":"sausage-pasta-stew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=1789","title":{"rendered":"Sausage Pasta Stew"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1 lb. turkey Italian Sausage links, casing removed<br \/>\n4 C. water<br \/>\n1 jar (26 oz) meatless spaghetti sauce<br \/>\n1 can (16 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained<br \/>\n1 medium yellow summer squash, halved lengthwise and cut into 1-inch pieces<br \/>\n2 medium carrots, cut into 1\/4 inch slices<br \/>\n1 medium sweet red or green pepper, diced<br \/>\n1\/3 C. chopped onion<br \/>\n1 1\/2 C. uncooked spiral pasta<br \/>\n1 C. frozen peas<br \/>\n1 tsp. sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. pepper<\/p>\n<p>In a nonstick skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain and place in a 5qt slow cooker. Add water, spaghetti sauce, beans, summer squash, carrots, red pepper and onion; mix well. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or until vegetables are tender. Stir in the pasta, peas, sugar, salt and pepper; mix well.
