Butter<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. Pepper<br \/>\n2 C. fresh or frozen (thawed) Green Peas<br \/>\n1\/4 C. Water<br \/>\n1 tsp. chopped fresh Marjoram<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. Salt<\/p>\n<p>Remove green tops from onions and reserve for another use.  Cut white portion of each onion into 1\/2 inch pieces.  Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.  Add onion and pepper; cover and cook 3 minutes.  Stir in peas and water; bring to a boil.  Cover and cook 5 minutes or until peas are tender.  Uncover and cook 2 minutes or until liquid evaporates.
