Tomato Paste<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. each Salt and Pepper<br \/>\n2 14.5oz. cans petite diced Tomatoes, undrained<br \/>\n1\/4 C. chopped fresh Basil<br \/>\nCooking Spray<br \/>\n1 C. (4oz) shredded Mozzarella Cheese<br \/>\n1 C. (4oz) grated Parmesan Cheese<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cook pasta according to pasta directions, omitting salt and fat.  Drain pasta and set aside.  Remove casings from sausage.  Cook sausage, onion and garlic in a large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray. over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble.  Add tomato paste, salt pepper and tomatoes and bring to a boil.  Cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.  Combine cooked pasta, sausage and basil.  Place half the pasta mixture in a 4 quart casserole coated with cooking spray.  Top with half the cheese, and repeat the layers.
