{"id":1413,"date":"2003-11-24T04:09:15","date_gmt":"2003-11-24T11:09:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=1413"},"modified":"2003-11-24T04:09:15","modified_gmt":"2003-11-24T11:09:15","slug":"orange-ginger-bok-choi-stir-fry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=1413","title":{"rendered":"Orange-Ginger Bok Choi Stir-Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marinade\/sauce:<br \/>\n1 C. orange juice<br \/>\n1\/4 C. rice vinegar<br \/>\n1\/3 C. soy sauce or tamari<br \/>\n1 T. vegetable oil<br \/>\n2 tsp. dark (roasted) sesame oil<br \/>\n3 cloves garlic, finely chopped<br \/>\n1 T. fresh ginger, finely chopped<br \/>\n1 tsp. sugar<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. red pepper flakes<br \/>\n1 scallion, chopped<\/p>\n<p>8 oz. tempeh or tofu<br \/>\n1 T. vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 head bok choi<br \/>\n2 T. unbleached white flour<br \/>\n3 T. chopped cilantro (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Combine all marinade ingredients in a medium bowl. Cut tempeh or tofu in bite-sized cubes and add to marinade. Set aside. Chop bok choi into medium pieces, wash and drain well. There should be about 8 C.. Heat oil over medium high heat in a wok or large skillet and add bok choi, stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes, until choi leaves are limp. Remove tempeh\/tofu from marinade with a slotted spoon and add to wok, stirring, for 2-3 more minutes. Stir flour into marinade until any lumps are gone, then add marinade to wok, stirring until sauce thickens and heats through, about 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately over rice.
