{"id":11236,"date":"1999-04-05T21:48:10","date_gmt":"1999-04-06T04:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=11236"},"modified":"2013-11-16T21:48:39","modified_gmt":"2013-11-17T04:48:39","slug":"tuna-pasta-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=11236","title":{"rendered":"Tuna Pasta Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>1\/2 lb. green beans, trimmed, cut into 1&#8243; long pieces(or use frozen green beans, thawed)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>3\/4 lb. rotini or other corkscrew pasta<\/p>\n<p>2(6-oz.) cans solid white tuna, packed in water, drained<\/p>\n<p>5 green onions, chopped<\/p>\n<p>1 large tomato, seeded &amp; chopped<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 C. chopped pitted black olives(preferably brine-cured)<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 C. mayonnaise<\/p>\n<p>2 T. balsamic vinegar<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp. celery salt<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cook green beans in large pot of boiling salted water until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer beans to a colander and rinse. Add pasta to same pot of water and cook until tender, but still firm to bite. Pour pasta into a colander and rinse under cold water to cool. Drain well. Place tuna in a large bowl and break into small pieces. Add green onions, tomato, black olives, pasta and green beans, and mix well. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, and celery salt to a small bowl, and mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
