{"id":10486,"date":"2012-05-08T21:09:58","date_gmt":"2012-05-09T04:09:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=10486"},"modified":"2013-03-19T21:10:47","modified_gmt":"2013-03-20T04:10:47","slug":"orange-sweet-potatoes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/recipes\/?p=10486","title":{"rendered":"Orange Sweet Potatoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>3 large sweet potatoes<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>1 T. margarine<\/p>\n<p>3 oranges, peeled and cut into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 C. orange juice<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp. pepper<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp. ground ginger<\/p>\n<p>Toasted almonds, slivered, (optional)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.\u00c2\u00a0 Bake potatoes about one hour or until tender.\u00c2\u00a0 Halve the potatoes lengthwise; scoop out pulp and mash with 1\/4 C. orange juice, margarine, salt, pepper and ginger.\u00c2\u00a0 Stir orange pieces into the potato mixture.\u00c2\u00a0 Pile into shells.\u00c2\u00a0 Top with almonds if desired.\u00c2\u00a0 Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.
