4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature<\/p>\n
4 slices bread<\/p>\n
1 T. fig jam<\/p>\n
2 eggs<\/p>\n
1 T. milk<\/p>\n
2 T. walnut oil<\/p>\n
Spread half of the cream cheese on 2 slices of bread. Spread the fig jam on top, dividing it between the bread slices. Spread the remaining cream cheese on the other 2 bread slices. Place them cream-cheese side down on top of the fig jam to make 2 sandwiches. In a shallow bowl whisk the eggs and milk. Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium. Dip both sides of the sandwiches into the egg mixture, covering the sides evenly and allowing any excess liquid to drip back into the bowl.
