Show how plants and animals get energy, by telling other students which plants and animals are eaten by other animals.<\/p>\n<p>2. Explain that energy for life comes from the sun.<\/p>\n<p>3. Explain how all living things depend directly or indirectly on green plants for food.<\/p>\n<p>4. Use pictures and arrows to create a food web that includes the sun, green plants, and animals from the prairie.<\/p>\n<p>Materials:<\/p>\n<p>1. Ball of yarn<\/p>\n<p>2. Pictures of prairie plants, animals, and humans<\/p>\n<p>3. Tape to attach pictures to clothing<\/p>\n<p>4.
