Read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Very-Hungry-Caterpillar-board-book\/dp\/0399247459\/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1258405873&amp;sr=1-2\">The Very Hungry Caterpillar<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Create a C Bag with items from around the house like corn, can, coffee, crayon, crown, comb, carrot, cake, car, candle, camera, etc.<\/p>\n<p>4. Create a C collage.\u00c2\u00a0 Search through magazines for words that start with the letter C and glue them to paper.<\/p>\n<p>5. Provide a large cutout &#8220;C&#8221;, taped to waxed paper for easier cleanup.\u00c2\u00a0 Provide paint in shallow paper plates and dry ears of corn.\u00c2\u00a0 Show your child how to roll the corn in paint and then over the &#8220;C&#8217; shape to make corn prints.\u00c2\u00a0 When dry, glue the C to a piece of paper for thier alphabet book.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>6. Provide a worksheet with C&#8217;s for tracing across the top.\u00c2\u00a0 Provide a rectangle of aluminum foil to fit below the C line, 6 white circles cut from construction paper, markers and a glue stick.\u00c2\u00a0 Have your child glue down the foil as a cookie sheet, decorate the cookies and then attach them to the foil.<\/p>\n<p>7.
