The kidlet lost his first official tooth already!\u00c2\u00a0 (The one that got knocked out when he\u00c2\u00a0slipped and fell into a coffee table doesn’t count! ;)) \u00c2\u00a0He is only just barely five, and while that falls in the normal range for first tooths to go, its about a year ahead of the average.\u00c2\u00a0 Being ahead of the curve isn’t something we’ve seen much of, given his first six months of neglect before he was taken in by DHS.<\/p>\n

The top hole is the face smash into a coffee table hole — its the bottom one that is the new and “official” one! ;)\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

It had been loose for a few days.\u00c2\u00a0 One night he went in his room with the tooth still there.\u00c2\u00a0 He came out an hour later to report that his tooth was missing.\u00c2\u00a0 I suppose it just finally slipped out and that he swallowed it because he had no idea where it went and said he didn’t pull it out.\u00c2\u00a0 We had to write a note to the tooth fairy and explain what happened.\u00c2\u00a0 He drew her a picture of the tooth so she couldn’t get confused.\u00c2\u00a0 Of course, confusion might reign as his drawing would lead you to believe that\u00c2\u00a0the tooth\u00c2\u00a0was bigger than\u00c2\u00a0a peson\u00c2\u00a0and bright red!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
