It went a lot better this time, though much marker ink still ended up all over hands =)\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool28.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1746\" title=\"totschool2\" src=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool28.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"368\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool28.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool28-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 368px) 100vw, 368px\" \/><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I made an apple tree out of cardstock and glued it down on a background.\u00c2\u00a0 The intent was to let her use up a whole sheet of smaller apple stickers, but I couldn&#8217;t find them, so instead I used spray adhesive to turn some larger paper apples (bulletin board decorations) into &#8220;stickers&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool38.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1747\" title=\"totschool3\" src=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool38.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"368\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool38.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pcgirl.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/totschool38-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 368px) 100vw, 368px\" \/><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">That left us with apples rather out of proportion to the tree, but I don&#8217;t think she minded ;)\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">-\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Others: Washed apples with a vegetable brush in a pan of water; paper apples graduated in size downloaded from <a href=\"http:\/\/folderfun.ning.com\/\">File Folder Fun<\/a>, which we used to talk about big, bigger, biggest and small, smaller, smallest;\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On topic books we read this week: 10 Apples Up on Top, The Apple Pie Tree, Apple Farmer\u00c2\u00a0Annie, Five Red Apples (pat the bunny series)\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On topic snacks this week: apples, apples and more apples!\u00c2\u00a0 raw in thin slices, applesauce, baked with cinnamon, apple muffins, thin apple sliced cut into apple shapes with mini cookie cutter \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The Favorite:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"mso-font-kerning: 18.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Applesauce on a Stick<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"mso-font-kerning: 18.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">1\/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">3 medium apples unpeeled cored and cut up <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">1\/4 teaspoon cinnamon <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">1\/2 cup dark raisins <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">1 tablespoon sugar or to taste <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">Popsicle sticks <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNoSpacing\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Process apples, juice, cinnamon and raisins in blender or food processor until smooth; add sugar to taste. It will taste less sweet when frozen. Spoon into 3-4 ounce paper or plastic cups or frozen sucker molds. Place in freezer.
